During initial planning discussion with a potential client regarding
their specific needs, we determine if there will be a need for installation
of the product we are selling.
If it is determined that there is a need, we begin the process
of discussing that portion of the process as we develop themes and
designs.
Once the design has been finalized and product pricing agreed
to, we then schedule a site survey with a KBKB certified installer
at the home. We then walk through the new design, and the existing
facility, potential plumbing and electrical issues, structural changes,
etc.
Once the site survey is complete, the installer quotes us on removal
and installation of the new cabinets only. The balance of the work,
if any is needed, is quoted directly to the home owner. A deposit
of 50% for the cabinets and installation is received by KBKB and
product is placed into production.
Once product is received by KBKB, the balance on the product and
installation is received, and delivery is arranged. Once delivery
is made, the installer thoroughly inventories all parts and checks
for hidden damage. The installer reviews all installation drawings
and the client punch list. Installation begins. To this point, approximately
4 to 6 weeks have elapsed since the product has been ordered.
The installation progresses. All cabinets, trim, and accessories
are installed, and arrangement for the templating of the counter
tops is arranged. Eight to ten days later the tops are installed.
The installer walks through the punch list with the client, any
missing pieces or quality issues are noted and perused. If all is
well, the client signs off that everything is complete, and that
allows us to complete the transaction with the installer.
